An Incredible Entrepreneur

During a recent Executive Club reception, I had the privilege of meeting Jamie Dimon. Mr. Dimon is Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of JPMorgan Chase, the largest of the big four American banks. I have always had a love of the world of business and in my opinion Mr. Dimon exemplifies the ultimate success in what he has built. Much has been written about his $20 million in compensation but what I find so phenomenal is that this man cofounded Citigroup and during his tenure at JPMorgan, the bank has grown into one of the most powerful institutions in the world with over $2 trillion in assets. Now that’s an accomplishment!

What I was so thrilled to hear from him was his determination and his pride in placing so many women in top management positions.

As an entrepreneur in the short term corporate housing industry, people such as Jamie Dimon continue to inspire me to create bigger and better services no matter how long I have been in the industry.
