What does it mean to be a cherished guest of Manilow Suites?
Many have commented that they only find this astonishing level of comfort, flexibility, convenience, and responsiveness at the very finest hotels.
Our delighted guests include celebrities and CEOs―sophisticated buyers who demand the absolute finest accommodations. Our regular lodgers have included luminaries like Cubs pitcher Kerry Woods, Lyric Opera superstars Jesse Norman, M*A*S*H director Robert Altman, rapper Eve, actor Keith Carradine, and the Consuls General of Ireland, Germany, and The Netherlands―as well as thousands of families, business executives, and generally wonderful people from every walk of life and corner of the world.
My most honored guest was Oscar Munoz, the CEO of United Airlines. During a 2019 keynote address, Oscar called me out in front of 1,000 professionals at the Executive Club of Chicago, remarking how happy he always was when staying with Manilow Suites.
When I was 20 years old, I became a United stewardess. The job was exciting and challenging, offering non-stop travel across countless countries and cultures. This experience provided deep insight into how to ensure the comfort of the diverse passengers in my personal care. That vision, discipline, and work ethic are central to Manilow Suites’ values and commitment.

How serious is our commitment to quality?
One of our long-term clients is a global corporation that regularly moves its executives around the world. In Chicago, they always stay in Manilow Suites apartments―we’ve hosted more than 1,000 families since 2010. This company rigorously surveys all of its hundreds of worldwide vendors to compare their quality. We’re proud to say that according to the company’s own internal survey, Manilow Suites had received the highest rating among all of its vendors every single year (in fact, every single quarter!). Not a single one of 1,000+ surveys had a negative word to say about us.
We will continue to provide the finest, cleanest, and safest furnished housing in Chicago. One of my favorite sayings is, “What some people call ‘extraordinary,’ we call ‘standard.’”
